Torres, Scammon, Hincks & Day is proud to sponsor the Boston Bar Association Annual Meeting on Thursday, October 5, 2017. The event is one of the largest legal community gatherings of its kind.
This year’s Annual Meeting features Piper Kerman, author of Orange is the New Black. Piper is an outspoken advocate for criminal justice reform. She has testified before the Senate on solitary confinement and treatment of women in prisons. Piper was also invited to speak at the Obama White House about the need to support and expand re-entry and employment programs nationwide.
